Spring Time is Here

We had spring during winter and now summer during spring. It is really going to be hot ALL summer long. So that means we must keep our little ones dressed cool not necked but cool. Pillowcase dresses are what the doctor ordered. I've made my first one of the season and I have more to go. Here is one of my little models. Isn't she Lovely, isn't she Wonderful O'neethia Walker. Thanks Stevie for those words. More to come hold your horses. :-)

Onsies...........

It's been a while since I've posted. Life is winning right now. I lightly talked about my business of sewing because I thought of it as a hobby. Now my onsies and socks are being requested on regular basis. I'm about to start trying the vest onsies. But here is my sleepy model :-) . He has four onsies two neckties and two bowties.  I love his MiMi who purchases for him. I also have a new buyer, who bought 4 onsies and put in an order for 2 more. Can't wait to get pictures soon to post.  Thanks for your prayers God is blessing.

Sewing for Real

This Saturday was a long day. But I wanted to do something for my little girl. I had to make some ruffled socks for a little girl at my church so that gave me an excuse to really be at the sewing machine and then spend time with my family. I wanted to make a high wasted skirt from bandanas for my baby and get done. Well the skirt turned out so cute I wanted her to wear it to church on Sunday. I put a plain white  long sleeve onsie on with it and my husband began to design a long sleeve onsie with a ruffle neck and bell sleeves. I saw his vision and began to sew. Here is what I came up with. Also there is a extra picture of my daughter with a church memeber (Beverly Watson). They both had on polka dots. I want to say thank you to Christy at sewloveit.blogspot.com for the inspiration.

Love Crafting

I started out doing bows for my little girl cause I didnt want to buy them. Which turned out sooo much cheaper.  Then I figured if I could make some cute bows why not try making some socks to match since my family and I go to church a lot  and buying socks to match Morgan's dresses was expensive and a daunting task. So I saved plenty of money. Well uneducated about making ribboned socks I used hot glue and some fabric glue. They washed well but if you put them in the dryer they are ruined. So I made a couple of pairs and sold them but they too only lasted a short time. Then my loving husband decided to buy me a mini sewing machine so that I could make socks and make them of better quality. And that is where it all began. I pushed that little things past it's limits. I made Morgan some quick outfits and everything but that little machine started struggling. My husband bought me a bigger sewing machine during black friday but because of the reviews I had him to return it. But my best friend believes in me and allowed me to use hers. People are starting to encourage me more and more each day to do better. So I have taken that as a sign and stepped out on faith and start selling things I make. Pray for me because i'm inlove with crafting and sewing..

Well I officially made my first sell of two of my tie onsies. It was truly exciting. But I don't think it was as exciting as seeing the cutest customer of the year wearing it. Check him out. Cute Cute Cute..........

The Cutest Thing Ever I Think................

I was looking online for different baby crafts and ran across the onsies with ties. So being that I had some baby boys that either was about to be born or would look great in that I made a few. Then I saw one with suspenders and there I went again LOL Lord Help Me. Then I thought I have a little girl and she would look cute in a suspender tie onsie. So I found a girly tie applique and made her some suspenders cute cute cute.
